Logistics, warehousing and storageOakway Storage
Busy lorry loading separated from a clean, dry, near-airtight storage area to meet a major food ingredient contract.
What Oakway Storage needed
Oakway Storage needed to separate day-to-day trunking, including frequent loading and unloading of artic lorries, from areas used for storage contracts, some of them sensitive food ingredients.
A key challenge was keeping a clean, dry, near-airtight environment for a major storage client. Their contract took up around a third of the warehouse and came with strict requirements, so Oakway needed an airtight wall between the logistics zone and the food storage area.
The solutionWhat we installed
Durascreen® was recommended in blue PX1000 fabric.
- A blue fabric wall to match the site's corporate colour
- V-overlap joins for a dust-tight seal
- Framed door openings for the client to fit their own rapid doors
The finished installation

The project management team were very hands-on and supportive throughout, always available when needed, which made a real difference. When I visited the site just three days into the install, your team had already made electrifying progress. Everyone on site was genuinely impressed by how quickly things were moving, especially considering the size of the wall – it completely changed the feel of the space. By the time I returned, they were finishing up the 3m door. It was a smart, tidy job – tight finish, great colour. I've already said – I absolutely recommend DBC.
