What Marshalls needed
Marshalls needed to contain dust from their batching process and stop it spreading to nearby production areas. The dust posed no health risk, but controlling it was essential to improve working conditions for operatives.
The solution needed to be effective, designed for the site, and installed without affecting daily production.
The solutionWhat we installed
Durascreen® in PX1000 fabric was recommended to contain the dust.
- Dust-tight V-overlap joins to reduce airborne dust moving between the batching and production zones
- PVC strip curtains at access points, so operatives and equipment move easily while dust stays contained
- A bespoke fabric wall designed around the batching area
- A roll-up panel with Velcro edges and webbing straps, for occasionally moving larger equipment in and out
- Clear PVC vision panels welded into the wall
The finished installation
We're very impressed with the wall! DBC have done a cracking job. It's been great working with them, and I genuinely appreciate all the assistance throughout the process. They've been excellent to work with, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any future dust barrier or curtain requirements.
